Following a 10-month delay and many months of speculation, Apple Inc. (AAPL) has announced that the long-awaited white iPhone 4 will be in stores in the next few weeks. Although it was originally scheduled to go on sale at the same time as its black counterpart, manufacturing problems hindered its release. Apple and its partner Japanese company fortunately developed a painting technique that gives the manufacturers more control over the thickness of the paint being sprayed on the phone which has apparently resolved the problems they were facing.
The white iPhone 4 is expected to rake in the customers and boost iPhone sales over the coming months. Let’s just hope the wait wasn’t too long for all those white iPhone 4 supporters!
