For the third time in a month, Skype has had to deal with a global failure. Users could no longer log in or make calls to their contacts. Strangely enough no error message appeared, but the program remained on the ‘Connected.’ According to Skype, the problem clients were faced with was due to a configuration error and apparently only a small percentage of users were affected by the problem. Nevertheless, reports came in from all over the world about clients that were unable to log on to their VoIP service. It has been reported by Skype that the problem is now solved.
