As a retaliation of being banned from Google+, the group of “hacktivists” have reacted by launching its own networking site anonymously.
“Welcome to the Revolution – a new social network where there is no fear of censorship, blackout or no restraint.” With these words, people are welcomed on the main page of AnonPlus, the new social network launched by Anonymous. This group of “hacktivists” is famous for having attacked the sites including the electronics manufacturer Sony and the Pentagon.
The project is apparently born after the exclusion of the group of pirates from the web’s social network Google+ which was recently launched by the Mountain View Company. It is as a social networking site which opposes Google and Facebook, as anonymity reigns supreme.
AnonPlus social network is currently under development, but “soon this site will be activated and you can start interacting,” promise-makers on the home page. That being unless it is just a provocation on the part of Anonymous.
